NEWCITY is a mixed-use development located in the heart of Chicago's Lincoln Park district, owned and operated by Bucksbaum Retail Properties. A full-site 34,000sf barricade graphics program was implemented to mask vacant retail spaces before the center opened in September 2015. Center Management later asked Spartan to take over all marketing aspects and act as interim marketing staff and their full-time agency. We helped launch over a dozen (several first-to-market) retailers for Grand Opening in October; hosted a festive VIP party for over 1,000 attendees and organized their first-ever Winter Carnival holiday event. In the first five months of the center opening we organized and negotiated media buys exceeding $125k. NEWCITY has become the new epicenter of Chicago's Lincoln Park.
